• Dr. Aurora was born and raised in a small town in the north of Mexico, where she was educated in bilingual private schools during her school years. She was a recognized young athlete, being part of the national swimming team as a teenager, which allowed her to travel around the world and Mexico.
• Dr. Aurora then had the privilege of study in Vancouver, Canada at the British Columbia International College for a year to improve and practice her english right before starting Dental School.
• Dr. Ortega graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León Dental School in 2012 in Monterrey, Nuevo León. She has been working with a group of dental specialists since 2014.
  Dr. Aurora’s hunger for learning didn’t stop there. She has been attending to different courses in the best colleges in U.S., like Michigan and New York Dental schools as well as her most recent prosthodontics course at Los Angeles, California.
• Moreover, her passion for dentistry and dental photography has made her pursue a new path in cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ortega is soon to complete her Digital Smile Design Residency in Brazil, and she's recently trained internationally with the best esthetic masters, learning the latest techniques from Christian Coachman, DDS MDT (Brazil), Edward McLaren, DDS MDT (USA), Sascha A. Jovanovic, DDS MDSc (USA), Francesco Mitrone, DDS MDSc (Italy), Eduardo de la Torre, DDS MDS (Spain), among others.
• Dr. Ortega is a key member of the Dental Design Studio team, guiding our patients from their first contact until the end of their treatments, and more! Always establishing open, honest and continuous communication with them from the beginning, leaving no room for misunderstandings at all time!
• She believes the pursue of excellence is not an act but a habit, something we must do day by day.
• During her time outside Dental Design Studio, she loves to enjoy the ocean, she's actually a certified diver. She also loves to travel, outdoor sports, and enjoy life with her family of four: David, Holly, Skippy, and Sally: her beautiful 3 puppies.
